Privacy Policy

This page explains what information IPOSnap may collect, how it is used, and what happens when users check IPO allotment status.

1. Information we collect

IPOSnap may collect limited technical and usage information such as device type, browser, approximate location, page visits, referral data, and error logs. If analytics or ads are enabled, third-party providers may also collect usage data according to their own policies.

2. PAN data and allotment checks

When you use the allotment checker, your PAN is used only to submit the request to the relevant registrar or supported checking flow. IPOSnap is designed not to permanently store PAN numbers in its database as part of normal allotment checks.

Some short-lived server memory or local browser storage may be used to improve usability, rate-limit requests, or reduce repeated registrar lookups. Browser-side saved PAN entries, if shown in the UI, are stored locally on your own device unless explicitly stated otherwise.

3. How we use information

  • Operate and improve the website and its data tools
  • Monitor uptime, abuse, fraud, and service reliability
  • Measure traffic and product usage trends
  • Serve ads or analytics integrations where enabled

4. Data sources and third parties

IPO-related information may be sourced or derived from public registrar websites, exchanges, public web pages, and third-party data providers. When you interact with registrar links or third-party services, their terms and privacy policies apply.

5. Cookies and local storage

IPOSnap may use cookies or local storage for basic functionality, analytics, saved UI preferences, or ad delivery. By using the site, you agree to such use where applicable.

6. Security

Reasonable technical measures may be used to protect data, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. Users should avoid sharing unnecessary personal information in public or unsecured environments.
